George is a 21 lb. tri-color Rat Terrier born in Ramona, Ca on July 7, 2003.
As a Frisbee “puppy” he would amuse the competition spectators by successfully catching a far throw and proceed to chase all the butterflies and birds with his disc firmly grasped in his mouth. He grew into a highly competitive athlete and had his first major exposure in 2005 with his qualifying performance in the Incredible Dog Challenge tournament where he was featured on the front page of the San Diego Union Tribune. George has continued his career in southern California where he has won numerous events. In 2007 his freestyle routine has put him at the top of every competition and afforded him the bragging rights of the best freestyle routine of the Incredible Dog Challenge qualifying rounds. He is now a traveling athlete competing in the Colorado Disc Challenge where he finished in 1 st place freestyle champion with 50 competing teams from various states. (Link to competition page)

Gracie is a 29 lb. red and white McNab born 7/1/2005 in Paso Robles, Ca.
Gracie is extremely athletic and flys thru the air with the greatest of ease! We chose her for our logo.
Although flying for discs is her #1 love she is also a budding agility performance dog. Her circus like tricks brings cheers from the audience. She has won 2 nd place in the Petco best dog tricks in San Diego County in 2007. Her sweet demeanor makes her the #1 choice for the media. (Link to KUSI video)
Gracie also competes in Frisbee freestyle and has been one of the few K9s to challenge her brother George’s freestyle performance with finishing in 3 rd place out of 50 teams in the freestyle competition at the Colorado Disc Dog Challenge. (Link to competitions)

Roxy is a 29 lb black & white McNab mix born in
Roxy came to our home as a 9 month old foster dog. Her delightful personality and quick connection with George and Gracie made it clear she was meant to be part of our family. Her unique looks and her immense drive for play quickly set her place as part of the team.
Her never ending energy made her our #1 Frisbee dog for use with the children at the Dream Street Camp performance in 2007.
On July 21, 2007 Roxy competed with our 8 year old grandson Liam, and won her 1 st trophy at the Skyhoundz local competition in Torrance, Ca. ( link to competitions, Liams pic)

Al Erikson is frequently referred to as “the Frisbee dog guy” by the neighborhood kids that see him playing with his dogs. Although Al always enjoyed playing Frisbee, he was introduced to the K9 disc sport by his Rat Terrier George. The fun of playing and teaching George drove Al into the competitive arena and then onward into a career of dog shows and dog training. (Link to training)
